About Us

Yenepoya Nursing College (YNC) was established in the year 2002 under Islamic Academy of Education trust (IAE) with the permission of Government of Karnataka. It is recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC), Bangalore. The college was then affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with the admission of 1st batch of Basic B.Sc Nursing students. In the year 2009 YNC was brought under the ambit of Yenepoya(Deemed to be University) (Recognized under Sec 3(A) of UGC act, 1956, Notification No. F. 9-11/2007. U-3(4) Dated 27/02/2007), which is the first Deemed University in Dakshina Kannada district located at Deralakatte, about 15 kms from the port city Mangaluru, Karnataka. The college is one of the well established institutions, with the state-of-the-art facilities and eco-friendly campus.
