VPMM COLLEGE OF NURSING is one of the VPMM EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS FOR WOMEN run by  VPMM EDUCATIONAL TRUST established in memory of Thiru.V.P Muthaiah pillai-Tmt.Meenakshi Ammal. In the year 2012   Dr. V.P.M.SANKAR , Founder and Chairman, Mr.V.P.M.S. THANGA PRABU M.B.A GG(USA),Vice-Chairman, Tmt.PALANISELVI SANKAR, Secretary and Correspondent,Tmt. DURGA MEENALOCHINI KAMAL RAGAVAN M.B.A, JointSecretary, Mr.KAMAL RAGAVAN M.B.A, Trust member , Mrs.SINDUJA THANGA PRABU M.B.A, Trust member are the governing council  of the VPMM College of Nursing. It is one of the service oriented educational Institutions of VPMM Educational trust. VPMM Educational trust runs various educational Institutions to improve the educational status of the rural and urban women. The trustees are deeply concerned regarding the welfare of the students.

VPMM College of Nursing imparts quality student centered teaching, learning and clinical training based on Indian Nursing council syllabus. Our college is recognized by Indian Nursing council, Delhi, The Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.We are molding the students to develop right attitude towards the Nursing profession.
