About Us

Vivekananda Educational Trust was created by a group of philanthropists, in 1996, with a noble objective of promoting education in rural backward setting. The educationally backward area, Seplanatham which is in close proximity to Vadalore Vallalar Sabai, was selected for this purpose. Realizing the role of technical education in achieving employment and earning, Teachers Education College, named after Swamy Vivekananda was founded in 2008-09. It was approved by NCTE and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. The approved student enrolment is 2 basic units of 100 Students. Vivekananda College of Education is provided with an appreciable infrastructure and sufficient able qualified faculty members.
