Vidya Institute of Para Medical Sciences was established in the year 2011 under Vidya Education Trust.Para Medical Courses in interdisciplinary medical subjects are becoming enormously important in health care systems. In the recent years, there has been a growing need for qualified and well-trained para medical personnel who form an integral component of medical profession. In order to meet the increasing demand for qualified and trained para medical personnel, it is necessary to impart quality training to the eligible and interested aspirants who become students. There is an acute shortage of para medical personnel in the health sector. So, Vidya Institute of Para Medical Sciences (VIPS) was established to make para medical education, affordable and accessible to masses. The college is unique and excellent in its innovative, dynamic and compassionate approach to para medical education and healthcare services. Vidya Institute of Para Medical Sciences (VIPS) is situated on Bangalore-Mysore Highway (via Kanakapur) at Malavalli, which is a taluk head quarter in Mandya district, Karnataka, and is very close to Mysore, commonly termed to be the ‘the heritage city’ or ‘the royal city’ of Karnataka. Vidya Institute of Para Medical Sciences (VIPS) is recognized by Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Para Medical Board (Directorate of Medical Education), Bangalore.
