About Us

Vel’s Group of institution, with more than twenty five years of experience in running paramedical institutions, like Vel’s College of Pharmacy and Vel’s College of Physiotherapy also ventured to start Nursing programme.Venkateswara Nursing College was established by Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced studies (VISTAS) education & charitable trust – in 2006 and is recognized by the Govt of Tamil Nadu, Indian Nursing Council, TN nurses and midwives Council and Affiliated to The TN Dr MGR Medical University.Ever since its inception, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research has made it a path-setter. Its rich academic tradition has always attracted the most talented students who later on went on to make important contributions to the society.
