MISSION

We prepare all levels of professional nurses by rendering quality education and training, to be compassionate, professionally excellent, ethically sound individuals who will go out as health team providing holistic health care to individual family and community.

Facility

Infrastructure Facilities
A unitary building for nursing programme with all facilities is available as per Indian Nursing Council norms. The institution is situated in a calm and peaceful area amidst sylvan surroundings with an atmosphere, conducive to academic pursuits. There are spacious lecture halls, well equipped laboratories, library, hostels, dining halls, facilities for indoor games and huge playground and transportation facilities for the students and staff.

The following laboratories are fully equipped and modernized with state-of-the art facilities:

Library
There is a centralized fully computerized library located in a well-lit and ventilated hall. It has a collection of around 4200 Books in1500 Titles, and 12 National and 6 International journals.

We have access to online e journals also – e-consortium through –The TN Dr MGR Medical University and ebscohost through Vels University.

Computer Lab
The computer lab has Pentium IV file servers and systems with multimedia facilities. Broad band internet connection is available. The lab is fully air-conditioned and run by competent and qualified faculty.

Educational Visit & Tours
Observational visit to various organizations are arranged regularly in all the year as prescribed by The TN Dr. MGR Medical University. A yearly tour is planned end of every academic year for the students with their faculty.

Food & Accommodation
The college has its own separate hostel for boys and girls within the campus and also provision for separate dining for them.

Sports & Games
“A sound mind in a sound body”. Keeping this in mind, the management has set apart a huge play ground within the campus for the students to have adequate participation in sports and games. A well qualified Physical director is also available to train the students in sports and games.

Transportation
The Institution has its own fleet of buses connecting the campus with different points of Chennai city and suburbs.
