Swami Vivekananda College of Nursing was established and managed by Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Educational and Charitable Trust, Dharmapuri SRI RAMAKRISHNA VIVEKANANDA EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST has established in Dharmapuri with the object of MAKING ALL ROUND DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL. It is functioning under the guidance of SENIOR MONKS OF SRI RAMAKRISHNA MATH. Sister Vasantha Rani, Managing Trustee and the Founder Member of the Trust is an experienced and benevolent educationist who has dedicated her life for the cause of education and committed to serve by not mere words but by accepting the society as a family. Our Trust wish to serve in Medical Education, Health Care and Research. Our Trust is established with the aim to extend our service without distinction of religion, caste, creed or color. Educating the girl child would be our priority since our Dharmapuri district hits the headline for female infanticide.

Swami Vivekananda School of Nursing and College of Nursing, Dharmapuri is started in the year 2007-08 and duly approved by the Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai. It is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. Our Nursing Institutions are managed by Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Educational & Charitable Trust, Dharmapuri.
