Established in the year of 2007, SUMANDEEP NURSING COLLEGE aims to train dedicated and expert nurses, capable of contributing towards the development of emerging health care systems in public and private health care organizations, as well as community services.
Our Bachelor of Nursing degree course provides high achieving undergraduate students the opportunity to extend themselves intellectually and clinically, thereby rendering quality care to the general public through our hospital and community services.
Our significantly well infrastructure institution imparts high quality professional education to young and aspiring candidates who have dedicated themselves to be efficient nurses and also meet the acute shortage of qualified and skilled nursing manpower, our country is currently facing. Special impetus is given in Sumandeep nursing college to train students capable of giving comprehensive nursing care, such as promoting preventive, curative and rehabilitative services to the needy.
Dr. Ravindra HN , has qualified, M.Sc. Nursing from Dr. M.V Shetty Institute of Health sciences Mangalore, under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Ph.D in Nursing from Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Vadodara. He also graduated in M.Phil (Health care and Hospital Administration) and M.A Sociology. He started his carrier as a staff Nurse, then as a clinical instructor and Assistant professor. Presently he is working as a Professor cum Principal at Sumandeep Nursing College, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Vadodara, Gujarat.
He has vast teaching, administrative and Research experience and taught GNM, BSc Nursing, P.B B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing (NPCC) students. He has been conducted many faculty researches as a principal Investigator, guided several UG research projects & PG dissertations and he is a recognized PhD guide of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth. He has published numerous research papers in reputed indexed national and International journals.
He has been organized and participated as a resource person in state and national conferences, workshops and seminars. He is a paper setter, moderator and practical evaluator for UG & PG examinations of eminent universities in India.
He is the member of Ad-hoc inspection committee, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Gujarat Nursing Council, Ahmedabad. He is the lifetime member of Trained Nurses Association of India and Nurse Research society of India. He is the editorial board member and reviewer of various National & International journals and contributing as an advisory board member in integrated journal of Health Sciences. He is a member of Academic council, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University and member of Board of studies for several universities in India. He is an advisory board member of Internal quality assurance cell (IQAC), Sumandeep Vidyapeeth deemed to be University, Vadodara.
