About Us

St.James College of Nursing was established in the year 2002, as the silver jubilee memorial of Diocese of Irinjalakuda and the Episcopal ordination of its 1st Bishop Mar James Pazhayattil. His mission and vision is continued under the relentless guidance of our patron, his Excellency Mar Pauly Kannookadan , Bishop of Irinjalakuda till date. Campus is located in 10 acres of lush green landscape, adorn by Chalakudy river, providing a serene atmosphere for pursuit of academic excellence. The college is easily accessible by road, rail, and air. It is situated 1.5 kilometer away from NH 544, Chalakudy south junction. Rev. Fr. Paul Elamkunnapuzha , the founder Director of St. James College of Nursing took on his shoulders the great responsibility of establishing the college. At present the college of nursing functions under the able administration of Msgr Joy Paliakkara, Vicar General and president, St.James Hospital trust, Rev.Fr. Varghese Pathadan, Director. St.James Hospital, and his Asso. Directors. The college endeavors for the academic and extracurricular growth of its students through the proficient leadership of Dr. Cicily Joseph, Principal, Rev. Sr. Teena Davis, Vice Principal and a task force of resourceful and well experienced teaching and non teaching faculty.
