About Us

St. Ann's School of Nursing was founded in the year 1998 and College of Nursing was founded in the year 2006 and is an establishment of sisters of St. Ann of providence. The society was founded in Italy in the year 1834, whose roots extended to India in the early 20th century and, later started St.Ann’s Hospital at Fathimanagar in the district of Warangal in the state of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1954. As the hospital grew from its humble beginning with 20 beds to 100 bedded strong health centre, the need for qualified staff and holistic health care was felt, which served as the anchor to start the College of Nursing.St. Ann’s College of Nursing is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and recognized by the state nursing council of Andhra Pradesh as well as Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The course on offer in the current academic year is B.Sc Nursing 4 Year Degree course.The college is primarily attached to its parent hospital that is St.Ann’s Hospital and also to MGM Govt. Hospital, Warangal, Govt. Maternity Hospital, Hanamkonda and Mental Health Centre, Hyderabad.
