About Us

We established ourselves in the year 2002, as Usman Khan Memorial Educational Trust ® registered in Bengaluru, with a noble intention to provide quality education to the society.In the year 2003, we started SOFIA COLLEGE OF NURSING, Bengaluru which was approved by the Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru and Affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru with 40 seats of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc., in Nursing).Later, after a decade of service in this course, we established the Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 60 seats as intake which was approved by the Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru and Affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.Then, we moved onto Master of Science in Nursing with specialities of Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, O.B.G and Psychiatric Nursing, which was approved by the Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru and Affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.Also, all our nursing courses are approved by the Nursing Apex Bodies like, Karnataka State Nursing Council, Bengaluru & Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.All the courses are functioning in a sprawling lush green 1 acre campus in the Heart of Bengaluru.
