About Us

SKS Nursing Institute was founded in 1993 by Mr. S K Sengoda Gounder, the founder of SKS & Ramani Groups in Tamil Nadu under the aegis of VS Educational Trust to provide quality education to the public. The Nursing College is attached to SKS Hospital & Postgraduate Medical Institute, the first multi-speciality hospital in Salem. Today the hospital is the largest postgraduate training centre for medical studies in the region outside of medical colleges with post-MBBS training in Anaesthesia, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Radiology, and post-doctoral training in Spine Surgery.
