About Us

SI-MET College of Nursing, Malampuzha is situated in a beautiful place near the tourist destination Malampuzha Gardens. It is 6 km from Palakkad Junction railway station (Olavakode), 7 km from Palakkad town railway station and 8 km from KSRTC Bus station. It is an ideal place for learning with full greenery and fresh air.

The college has excellent facilities including Academic and clinicals . The college is offering 4 year BSc Nursing degree programme with one year compulsory internship. The first batch of students for the academic year 2009-10 has been admitted from the rank list prepared by LBS centre Thiruvananthapuram.The College was inaugurated on 29 th September 2009  by Sri.V.S.Achuthananthan , Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala and the function was presided by Smt.P.K.Sreemathy Teacher, Hon.Minister for Health&Social Welfare department,Govt.of Kerala.The New building was inaugurated on 26th February 2011 by Smt.P.K.Sreemathy Teacher, Hon.Minister for Health&Social Welfare department,Govt.of Kerala. The function was presided by Sri.M.B.Rajesh, Member of  parliament.
