Admission Guidelines

Admission Policy

• The admission policy of Shushruti Institute of Management Studies is in complete compliance with the admission norms as set out by Bangalore University, AICTE and Govt. of Karnataka.
• The process ensures fair and transparent methods while admitting students to various courses as offered by the institute.
• The admission policy provides consideration to candidates who are differently abled, economically backward, belonging to scheduled caste scheduled tribes and backward communities and girl students.
• The admission policy ensures equal opportunity to the deserving and the needy.
• Equal Opportunity for men and women.
• Rooster Policy for SC/ST category students as per government orders.
• Special Provision for physically challenged.

Admission Process :-

Submission of photocopy of Document & provisional admission : candidate may take provisional admission in the opted course by paying the Registration Fee along with submission of necessary supporting documents & testimonials and filled application form.

The final selection is done based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination, entrance test scores (for selected courses) and performance in the personal interview.

Submission of Original Documents & Final Admission : The final admission process takes place once the candidate brings along all the original documents required for admission and approval, pay the necessary fee and complete all the necessary formalities.

List of documents to be submitted at the time of admission

• 10th Standard or Equivalent examination marks card
• 12th Standard or Equivalent examination marks card
• 3 years Degree Marks Cards issued by the University last studied
• Provisional Degree Certificate
• Migration Certificate issued by the Board/University last studied
• Character Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studied
• Transfer Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studied
• Ten copies of passport size photographs
• Score card of KMAT, MAT CMAT or any management entrances exams.

MANDATORY - Candidates who are applying for MBA program should have appeared for any of the management entrance examinations (CMAT, MAT, KMAT, CAT etc).
