About Us

With great effort and preservation of our President Dr. N. A. Magadum, Our SGE Society got registered in the year 1995-96. In the year 1997-98 Nursing Course began under the guidance of the most senior Nursing member of re-organized Karnataka state, and founder Principal of this Nursing Institute, Shri. M. N. Shigli. Thereby he motivated students to undergo Nursing Course successfully.

• In the year 2002, our Institute got recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
• In the year 2002-2003, the Annual intake increased from 20 to 60.
• In the year 2012 July our institute has inspected by specialized Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board Team.
• In the year 2013 March our institute has inspected by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
• In the year 2016 February our institute has inspected by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
• In the year 2018 July our institute has inspected by RGUHS Syndicate committee for the approval of B.Sc Nursing College.

Our Institute was recognized by Indian Nursing Council after completing detailed inspection by Indian Nursing Council Inspection Team and Task Force Committee of Karnataka State and the team was very much pleased by the facilities and faculty we have.

Now foundation has been laid down for our own 250 bedded hospital by the Honorable chief Minister of Karnataka Shri. H. D. Kumaraswamy. Now, the construction work of our 250 bedded hospital is going on rapidly and 150 bedded specialist hospital with high-tech operation theater & ICU has been started already where we can post our students for their clinical experience in various specialized department of medicine. This is the first time in the history to construct a multi specialty hospital in the rural area.

A s an extra human service, we are conducting blood donation camps and health camps every year. In order to create awareness regarding the transmission and prevention of AIDS, we are conducting rally throughout Ankali on World AIDS day December 1st every year.
