About Us

Established in the year 1965 as Trivandrum Homoeopathic Medical College with DHMS (Diploma in Homoeopathy) course. Name changed to Shree Vidyadhiraja Homoeopathic Medical College in the year 1978 after merging of Trivandrum Homoeopathic Medical College Society to Shree Vidyadhiraja Vidya Samajam. Started Bachelor degree – BHMS – admitting 50 students per year, in the year 2001, after getting affiliation from Central Council of Homoeopathy & University of Kerala. ‘Direct Payment System’ (DPS) introduced by Government of Kerala from 01-09-2002, thus becoming a Govt. Aided College. Affiliation shifted to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Mulakunnathukavu, Thrissur, in the year 2009. · Twelve Academic Departments: Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacy, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Practice of Medicine, Repertory, Organon of Medicine and Materia Medica. 25 bedded Teaching Hospital with all facilities including Pharmacy, Clinical Laboratory, Ultra-Sound Scanning, ECG, X-Ray unit, Labour room, Operation Theatre etc.
