Welcome to SGL Nursing College, Semi, Jalandhar. Under the blessings and guidance of Swami Baba Kashmira Singh Ji, this institute is committed to serve, teach and cater to the nursing community. We all at this college, work together to make this venture a glorious example of state-of-the-art, the best training institute of the region. The Institute is Approved by PNRC & Indian Nursing Council and is affiliated to Baba Farid University, Punjab.

Swami Baba Kashmira Singh Ji, felt a keen desire to have a feeder nursing training college for the Super-Speciality SGL Charitable Hospitals already functioning in Jalandhar and Mustfabad. These hospitals have 250 and 200 beds respectively.

There was a dire need to train nursing students who would be professionals of the highest order and efficient to face the challenges of the highly competitive nurses society world wide. For this we have the best teaching staff, well equipped library, laboratories, audio visual room, spacious class rooms and an eco-friendly infrastructure. We have a hostel which provides mess facilities where the menu is nutrition based for the healthy growth of hostlers.

Facility

• SGL Nursing College provides World Class Facilities to it's Students through it's State-of-the-Art Training Campus. The Campus consists of Latest Infrastructure in terms of Teaching Aids, Lab Equipments, IT Systems & Up-to-date Course Information in context to the Changing World Patterns.
• The institute maintains a well stocked library. There is a good number of books on Nursing , Medicine, Surgery, Biology, Politics and Social sciences. A large number of magazines, text books, reference books, dictionaries, pamphlets etc. are also available.
• There are six labs in the institution, which are nutrition lab, demonstration lab, anatomy lab, community health lab, microbiology lab and computer lab. All these labs are fully equipped with the latest apparatus and gadgets required for demos and practicals.
• The students are regularly encouraged to organise excursions, trips and picnics to the places of historical, cultural, medical and religious importance. In big hospitals, medical research centres and specialized institutions, the students are required to observe the latest techniques innovated in patient’s care and teachings
