About Us

Sara Nursing College was established in the year 1995 with an aim to provide quality nursing education and prepare excellent Nurses with a specialized body of knowledge and expertise. It offers various programmes.It begins school of nursing with 20 students for General Nursing and Midwifery program & B.Sc Nursing program with 50 students. It is recognized by Indian Nursing Council and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University Chennai. During 2005, we upgraded the Nursing course to Post Graduation with annual intake of 8 students in the area of Medical surgical Nursing, & Obstetric and Gynaecology Nursing. Later by 2007 sanctioned strength enhanced to 16 with the addition of one more specialties – Psychiatric Nursing.
