There is no denying of the above truthful saying, which has been accepted propagated by our ancestors
and sages of all religions. The spirit of social service and sacrifice above the self should be the motto of life. Nursing is one of the most exciting and in-demand jobs in India today. Nurses work to promote health, prevent disease and help patients cope with illness. They are advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities.
Nurses work in an environment that is constantly changing to provide the best possible care for patients. They are continuously learning about the latest technology and medication as well as considering the evidence that their nursing practice is based upon. Because they will actually spend more face-to-face time with a patient than doctors, nurses must be particularly skilled at interacting with patients, putting them at ease, and assisting them in their recovery. It is often said that physicians cure, and nurses care.
Nursing careers offer a wide variety of roles and a broad scope of responsibility. Nursing is recognized as the noblest profession in the world. When talking about “NURSING”, how we can forget Florence Nightingale, the forerunner of the nursing profession and the founder of modern nursing. She gave nursing a highly favorable reputation and became an icon of Victorian culture, especially in the persona of "The Lady with the Lamp".
We at the R. R. School & College of Nursing are furthering the cause which Nightingale yearned and worked for. We are engaged in this endeavor to teach the nurses of tomorrow who could contribute towards health awareness, patients care, comfort and cure.
This R. R. School & College of Nursing is run by Gautam Welfare Society (Regd.) an NGO with aims & objects to serve the rural & urban society especially in Health Sector.
We, the R. R. School & College of Nursing are confident; the students joining this institute shall put their best efforts to gain wide knowledge, so that their parents and society can be proud of these young Florence Nightingales.
Our students will find learning at R. R. School & College of Nursing an invigorating experience.

INFRASTRUCTURE

R.R.S.C.O.N. is located in a sprawling building in Sector 95, Pataudi Road, Wazirpur, Gurgaon. Gurgaon is very famous for its ancient Sheetla Mata Temple and the city is believed to be founded by Guru Dronacharya. Its promixity to the national capital has its own value. The School has new nicely constructed spacious building of its own in a very serene and clean pollution free environment.

SPORTS AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Activities relating to Sports and Physical Education are essential components of personality development, helping to promote good health, and inculcate a spirit of friendly competition. Outdoor and Indoor sports facilities are provided. A variety of recreational and cultural programs and social events are organized periodically to assimilate the students into the social fabric of the society. The students are encouraged to participate in activities of their choice and interest.

All students are encouraged to excel, and participate in programs at the State and National levels. Inter Collegiate Literary competitions and other extra-curricular activities are also encouraged. Active support and Infrastructure is provided for students wishing to take part in games and competitions and thereby promoting highest standards of which they are capable.
