Former students, staffs of the college are all members of the Alumni Association. We expect your involvement i an illustrious Christian Missionary from Wales, England in the year 1838. He came to Meignanapuram at the age of 31 and rendered his service for 33 years in our Lord's vineyard in and around the hamlet and built the famous St. Paul's Church at Meignanapuram. This college was affiliated to the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University at Tiruneelveli since 1991 from 2008 onwards it is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University at Chennai the college has been granted recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education. Rev John Thomas college of education for women, Megnana puram, Tuticorin District, South India is named after Rev John Thomas an illustrious christen Missionary from England. He was born on 10th November 1807 in wales. At the age of twenty John Thomas accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and sacrificed his life for the cause of evangelism and decided to become a missionary to India in 1837.
