About Us

Dr. B.N. Rathna, an Ayurvedic medical practitioner at Hassan could not confine herself to her prolific medical practice, as the natural instinct of her to get involved in more and more social service has made her to think of forming an Educational Trust to promote education among the youth by establishing some educational Institutions. It is thus Rathna Education Trust (R), Hassan was formed in the year 2002 with the help of some like minded people.Being a medical practitioner herself, she had observed non availability of qualified nursing professionals, and this apart, the health care industry growing fast in and out of the country, the demand for qualified nursing professional was found to be increasing year by year. This situation has prompted the Trust to establish a Nursing College and a Nursing School at Hassan to provide the following Nursing Courses.
