Ponmari College of Education is committed to bestow quality education of affordable cost to all and to prepare the students with requisite knowledge, skill and competency to face the challenges of the changing world of tomorrow The college has been offering B.Ed. degree course on self financing mode from March – 2006. At present it is functioning with 1 unit of B.Ed. having 100 student teachers. Our human resources are also worth mentioning as 12 Faculty members staff in the B.Ed. of 9 Departments like Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics, Chemistry), Biological Science (Botany, Zoology), History, Commerce, Computer Science and Economics for full time and one Part-Time Music Teacher
