About Us

NRI Institute of Medical Sciences (NRIIMS) is located in approximately 25km north of Visakhapatnam in Sangivalasa, Bheemunipatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Through the Anil Neerukonda Educational Society (ANES), NRIIMS was started in 2012 with the intent to educate and develop knowledgeable and qualified doctors who can contribute to the society under the affiliation of Dr. NTR. University of Health Sciences.On the NRIIMS campus, ANES has sponsored the Anil Neerukonda Hospital (ANH), a fully-functioning 920 bed multi-specialty hospital that was established in 2005 with 300 beds to serve the nearly 2 million people in the surrounding areas.The infrastructure of the Hospital has been built to support 750+ beds. ANH is equipped with all the necessary medical equipment including CT, MRI (Nov-16), X-Ray, Renal Dialysis (Nov-16) and has 24 hours Laboratory, Blood Bank, Ambulance, Casualty, Pharmacy, ICU and many other areas.
