About Us

Nightingale College of Nursing and College of Education are situated in historical village Narangwal in the vicinity of big industrial city of Ludhiana in Punjab, India. This village has produced freedom fighters like BHAI RANDHIR SINGH, civil as well as defense officers and educationists. The 6th chief minister of Punjab in India, Mr. Gurnam Singh was also born in this fertile village.

Florence Nightingale's lasting contribution has been her role in founding the modern nursing profession. She set an example of compassion, commitment to patient care and diligent and thoughtful hospital administration. Nightingale fundamentally changed the role of nursing in hospitals, and was a key figure in introducing new professional training standards. Named after 'The Lady with the Lamp', this unique institution is aimed to produce skilled, dedicated and professional nurses in accordance with global standards. It is also helping in achieving the international goals towards women empowerment by providing quality professional education and training, making them more confidant, independent and self-reliant. Picture of the Florence Nightingale is thoughtfully placed in the college logo to imbibe the values and qualities of selfless service to the humanity among our students and future nurses.
