About Us

NEST Institute of Humanities and Basic Sciences (NIHB) is the initial, noble venture under the aegis of North Malabar Education & Service Trust, Kannur. The Trust is formed by a group of philanthropists of Kannur and aims to serve the people to reach higher rungs of the social ladder. The institute, a self financing Arts and science college, approved by government of Kerala and affiliated to Kannur University, is established in 2013 and provides advanced instructions in UG programs. Presently the college is situated in rural background of Payyanur, adjacent to Kothayimukku junction of NH-17. During the current year the college will be shifted to its permanent campus in the pollution free, green environment of Kookanam, Karivellur, in Kannur Dt.
