About Us

In 1985, our founder Sriman. N.A.Ramachandra Raja established the N.A.Manjammal Polytechnic College with a mission to provide world-class technical education, build research and development platforms, evolve innovative applications of technology, encourage entrepreneurship and ultimately mould young technicians to take up leadership roles in society for the development of our country. Our founder saw opportunity for those with technical skills with a growing number of industries in and around Rajapalayam. With the intention of empowering women and bringing them on par in the technical sector, the institute began exclusively for women. Infect, it was the first self-financing Polytechnic College in Tamilnadu for women. With just two courses initially, we now have grown with more offerings for students and to meet the demand for technical education in the region we have opened doors for men as well in recent years.
