About Us

Mysore Medical College was established in June / Jala 1924. This is the oldest and first medical college and has made a lot of progress. It is one of the leading institutions in the country for its work ethic. "Wodeyar" Sri Krishna Raja Wodeyar dynasty, the 22nd ruler of the capital in 1833 vaisuru medical school (medical) established (17991868). The ruler of the Mysore state  of public good medicine for the treatment of the English in 1922, published in the palace of the Mysore Royal Family mentioned in the book that he wrote bikrsnarav controller. He worked in the palace durbar and later as the superintendent of the medical schoolWere directed. Krishnaraja Wodeyar III set up mental centers for lepers and in 1850 separate centers for mentally ill patients. According to further sources, the British instruction was launched by Kabban Saheb, the State Department of Education Mysore, in May 1857, when the Mysore Medical College was first opened in a small building at the original Electric AAA station near Fort, Victoria Hospital. But the landmarks have disappeared. Dr || HG Milevaganam and Dr. | B.K. Narayana Ram moved from Bangalore to Mysore in 1917.
