The Polytechnic College established in 1980, is located on Ramanathapuram-Kanyakumari Coastal Road, 3KM away from Kilakarai amidst sylvan surrounding of co-conut and neem groves in a 30 acres pollution free campus, having serene and peaceful atmosphere for learning. It is the moment of pride that our polytechnic college celebrated its Silver Jubilee gloriously in 2005. As a genuine recognition, our polytechnic college has received Accreditation by the NBA, AICTE, New Delhi in 2007. The notable feature is that Marine Engineering is taught at diploma level only in our polytechnic college throughout south india.
