About Us

Matha College of Teacher Education is run by Matha Memorial Education Trust. The College provides B.Ed., Degree Course (one year). Matha College of Teacher Education is situated in Vaanpuram, Manamadurai, Sivagangai District, Tamil Nadu, which is 45 kilometers away from Madurai city in Tamil Nadu. Manamadurai can be reached either by bus or train. Buses ply trips to Manamadurai from all prominent towns in Tamil Nadu.The Matha College Teacher Education is functioning from the year 2006 with proper permission from the Government of Tamilnadu, affiliation from the Alagappa University, Karaikudi and also Tamilnadu Teacher Education University, Chennai and recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Delhi from the year 2006-2007.
