Library

It is the nucleus of any educational institution has a modern library with a large number of nursing related textbooks. It also boasts of the latest national and international journals. This Library has an extensive collection of 3500 books which include Physiotherapy, B.Sc Nursing Degree and Diploma Nursing and reference books. The collection also includes books on Administration and Education, WHO, UNICEF, ICMR and family welfare etc.

In addition to the above, the collection includes books on Medical & Surgical Management, Research, Community Health Nursing, Obsttrics and Gynaecology, Mental Health Nursing, Administration, Computer Science, English, Sociology, Psychology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Genetics, Orthopaedics , Paediatrics and Rehabilitation and general books on Great leaders like Gandhi, Nehru and Abdul Kalam. The Library also Subscribes- both National and International Journals.

Main Reading Room has an extensive reference collection of over 1500 key materials selected by various references. The most recent year’s major medical journals are made available. Current audiovisual materials, abstracts and indices are also available in the Library Reading room.

Within our Library we can be used all Teaching Staff and Students. The Library features print and electronic Nursing and Physiotherapy references, a flat screen Television with DVD and Video Conferencing, anatomical models, internet- access computers, and electronic databases. The Library has a total Reading capacity for 100 readers.

Transport

We have sufficient vans and buses for our students for clinical visit .It have first aid facilities with experienced drivers and cleaners.

HOSTEL

Our students are housed in the institution hostel which is well furnished with cot and other facilities Rooms are quite comfortable and well ventilated. The students in the hostel should follow the rules and regulation in order to maintain the discipline of the hostel and school.

For the recreation purpose TV, Audio, indoor and outdoor games are available

he Institute has magnificently designed separate hostels for boys and girls each with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their own mess to provide good and hygienic food to the students.
The types of rooms are cubicles and dormitories. Mess is maintained on co-operative basis. Hostels have common Rooms, Badminton Courts, Volleyball ground and facilities for other indoor games.

This Institute mainly focuses on generating Nurses and physiotherapist, with multiple skills to render service in all levels of the community and in all clinical setups and thereby to raise the status and betterment of the Nation. Institution also concentrates on its individual Student`s betterment and to develop their leadership qualities in the field of health care system.
