About Us

Maharani Prem Kumari Nursing Institution was started during the academic year 2007-08 as “MPK Nursing Training School” with Auxiliary Nurse and Midwives (ANM) course under the Mayurbhanj Vocational Training Centre (Society), Baripada. After completing 10 years of successful running, it was in the academic session 2018-19 MPK College of Nursing was setup in the district headquarter of Mayurbhanj, Odisha at Baripada duly permitted by Government of Odisha, Health and Family Welfare Department  to impart quality Health Education with a vision to produce skilled graduate nurses with academic excellence as the prime motto. The college is recognized by Odisha Nurses and Midwives Council, Bhubaneswar, approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi.
