About Us

Maharajah’s Institute of Medical Sciences sponsored by Sri Rama Educational Trust was established in the year 2003 at Nellimarla, Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. Before starting this college, not only from Vizianagaram district but also from the surrounding districts people were not having proper medical facilities for their health problems and medical education for their children. Since, the inception of this college, that issues were taken care and the people of 2, 3 districts are feeling comfortable. This is one of the oldest private medical colleges in Uttarandhra.Since the inception under the management of Sri Rama Educational Trust, for the last 13 years, MIMS is not failing any time in rendering health services to the people of 3 districts and part of Orissa state also. This institute has introduced “Kanna Thalli Padakam” for pregnant women and other various schemes to treat the patients. By conducting hundreds of medical camps, the institute has become very popular among the public. The institute always lived in the hearts of the people for its relentless efforts in giving the best medical services according to the needs of the people. The management has got culmination of vision to take this institute to the Deemed University status and expand their horizon to take care of the patients needs.
