Lyceum-Northwestern University Dagupan

About Us

Lyceum Northwestern led a consortium of local tertiary schools and founded the Northern Philippines Institute of Medicine. LN became the “first medical school of the north” which began with an enrollment of 19 students. Lyceum-Northwestern University was founded by Dr. Francisco Quimson Duque and Mrs. Florencia Tiongson Duque.L-NU started as a single-room nursing school at the Dagupan City Polyclinic Hospital and was then called the Dagupan City School of Nursing. The school had an initial population of 94.
