About Us

KRP College of Education was established in the year 2005 with the intake of 100 students for the B.Ed programme. The M.Ed course statrted in the year 2007 with the intake of 25 students.Affiliation transferred to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University,Chennai from Periyar University, Salem in the year 2008.From 2010-2011 onwards there was an intake of 35 students for the M.Ed Course.A state level seminar was held at K.R.P College of Education on 26.03.2009. The title of the Seminar was “ Educational Technology ”The one day National seminar was held at K.R.P College of Education on 15.04.2010. The title of the Seminar was “Modern Trends in Teacher EducationThe Two days national level seminar was organized by our institution entitled as “Best Practice for Quality Enhancement in Teacher Education” on 10th & 11th May 2011.A state level seminar was held at our college campus on 29.02.2012 the title of the seminar was intelligence and Emotional Intelligence in Teacher Education.The college was Accredited by NAAC with 'B' Grade (2.75 on 4 Point Scale).
