About Us

KHANSA Women's College, affiliated to Kannur University and approved by the Govt. of Kerala is a Minority Institution (vide. Certificate. The Chairperson, New Delhi, dated 1st October 2015, under section, 2(g) of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act 2004 in case No.2945/2014). It is run by Hayathul Islam Trust for Education and Culture (HITEC). The Trust was founded by a group of educationalists and humanitarian visionaries under the able Chairmanship of Dr. C.H. Abdul Bhukhari.M.E.PhD,FRAS (London), Former Principal, Anjuman Engineering College, Bhatkal and Former Director of Kerala State Science and Technology Museum. The noble aim of it is the upliftment and empowerment of women by providing them better educational facilities and employment opportunities. Besides students-friendly classrooms, there are also a well equipped Laboratory for Science Practicals, and a Computer Lab with internet connectivity. The Library contains a good stock of Science, Commerce as well as Literature books. Our students performed very well at the University Examination and secured First, Second and Third ranks. We obtained good results for all Degree Examinations of the Kannur University.
