FACILITIES AVAILABLE FOR THE STUDENTS IN THE COLLEGE

Physical infrastructure: Jennys College of Nursing is constructed on a sprawling campus and has an excellent physical infrastructure. The well planned infrastructure encompasses Academic Blocks, Administrative Blocks, Faculty Rooms, Library and Laboratories. The College is situated at Ramjee Nagar, 7 kms from central bus stand Tiruchirappalli on the Trichy-Dindigul Highway

LABORATORY

The Nurses should have professional training and skill in nursing procedures during her academia to function effectively and safeguard the clients and the profession in the hospital and community. To facilitate this, the students are initially trained to provide care, practice procedures and understand customs, habits and traditions in a closed environment called the “Nursing Laboratories”.

Jennys College of nursing has world class nursing laboratories adequately equipped with imported cots, mannequins, models, articles and equipments to provide hands on experience for the students in a controlled setting. The students learn in the labs by making trial and errors and promptly guided and corrected by their faculty. The labs leave the students with confidence to practice nursing care efficiently on their patients. In a way labs ensure ethical principles of nursing practice, by safe guarding the patients getting exposed to raw practice of students. The laboratories are very spacious and constructed as per Indian nursing council norms.
