About Us

ILM College of Arts and Science, Methala, Perumbavoor, Ernakulam District, is a minority higher educational, self-financing institution, affiliated to M. G. University Kottayam, approved by the Govt.of Kerala, owned and managed by ILM Trust Methala, Perumbavoor. The Trust is a body of a number of outstanding academicians, educationalists and philanthropists, who strive for the educational advancements of the economically and socially backward sections of the society. As part of the social commitments of the ILM Trust, we offer financial help for deserving students by way of scholarships and fee concessions. The ‘Islamic Learning Mission Trust’ was registered in the year of 2010, under the ‘Indian Trusts Act of 1882’ .The Trust aims at, promoting good quality education to all the sections of the society, enriching personality development ,character formation and communal harmony. The various institutions founded by the Trust are the results of selfless and sincere hard works of our ‘Visionaries’.  The college was established on 01-08-2012, with its first Under Graduate Program, B.com. Computer Applications. At present we offer five U.G. Programs. We are planning to start two branches of M.Com.( Finance & E-Commerce) and two more U.G. Programs, including ‘B.Com.Logistic Management, during the next Academic Year(2020-2021). The college  provides  socially relevant and holistic education to students, without discriminating anyone on the ground of caste, creed, religion or gender.  Along with discharging of curriculum, we are also giving due considerations for developing the co- curricular and extra-curricular talents of our students. A number of clubs, cells ,associations and committees are also functioning in this institution, for the purpose of active involvements of the students, under the strict guidance of the competitive faculty members.
