About Us

Holy Cross College of Allied Health Sciences is attached to Holy Cross Hospital Kottiyam, Kollam and is administered by the Society of Sisters of Holy Cross. The main aim of the college is to impart all around formation-professional, Spiritual, moral, and social-based upon Christian principles and values.

The School of Medical Laboratory Technology was established in 1987as sisters of Holy Cross felt the need of having adequately trained, reliable and sincere laboratory technicians as the laboratory investigations have become an integral part in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient. In this era of Science and Technology and emergence of newer diseases, the laboratory investigations have significant role .The services of skilled, efficient and dedicated technicians are essential for better health care. With this in mind the MLT course was upgraded depending on the needs of the time and in tune with the advances in science and technology and opportunities for employment from time to time.
