Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalaburagi, was established vide Government Order No. HFW 102 MPS 2013, Bangalore dated 27-08-2013. It is recognized by medical Council of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. The institution conducts training of Medical undergraduates, nursing undergraduates and paramedical students. Patient care forms an integral part of the training curriculum and the affiliated hospitals utilize the expertise available at Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences. The institution is responsible for providing the entire pool of Doctors & Specialists by giving them training in medical field.
