About Us

Govt. Women’s Polytechnic College, Kaimanam, Thiruvananthapuram was established in the year 1961 and offers 3 year diploma courses in four branches - Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Commercial Practice. The total intake as on 2019 is 240. The total students as on current academic year are 706. The staff strength of this institution is 68 as on date. Apart from Diploma education the institute offers short term courses through Continuing Education Cell and Apparel Fashion Designing through District Panchayat, Thiruvananthapuram. The institute expects to be a Skill Development Center for Women in the coming years.
