Government Polytechnic College, Punalur is one of the major Technical institutions in Kollam district established by the Government of Kerala in the year 1998 situated at Nellipally, Punalur, Kollam district. This institution offers three year diploma Programmes in three major disciplines of Engineering / Technology (Computer Engineering (CT) , Electronics Engineering (EL) and Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EE)) under the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Kerala. The institution is approved by the ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (AICTE), NEW DELHI
