Principal's Message

It’s my pleasure and privilege to present the college profile to the stake holders of the higher education for the academic year 2019- 20. The Government of Karnataka has started this college in the academic year 1985-86 with a view to offer higher education at affordable cost. The College is registered u/s 2(f) of UGC New Delhi and also affiliated to Bangalore University Bangalore to impart higher education in Arts, Commerce & Management and Science. It is situated in famous locality Vijayanagar near to Vijayanagar Metro and Bus Terminus. The campus of the college is spread over 7372 SQMs Government land and enjoys own building and infrastructure facilities.

The college team is putting sincere efforts for the tremendous development of the college through innovative and skill development based academic and non academic programmes undertaken by various units of the college. It continues to conduct effective programmes on cultural Sports, NSS, NCC., Scouts & Guides, Youth Red Cross Society, various schemes of scholarships, Students Assembly, training and coaching for banking and other competitive examinations, campus recruitment, Communications skills, Job skills, spoken tutorials, Field assignments, Projects etc as per the calendar of events. Due to these programmes more students are being attracted to this college. Every year the college is continuously accommodating more number of students all through its 30 years of journey. The Peer team had visited to this college in the month of March 2016 and re-accredited with “B” Grade at CGPA- 2.72.

This college is successfully travelling for the past 30 years under the guidance, co-operation and support of the department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka, Chairman and members of CDC. It is my utmost duty to appreciate and express a sense of gratitude to my staff, Department of Collegiate Education, and other stake holders for supporting and extending their co-operation for the development of the college. Once again I look forward to receive co-operation and support from all the stake holders as they have always been over the years. Before I conclude my word, I would like to thank each and everyone at this outset.
