Library

The college has a resourceful, rich and spacious Central library which is located at the centre of the campus. Goa College of Engineering has one of the biggest libraries among the educational institution in the state of Goa catering the needs of more than 2200 students and 330 staff (Teaching & Non-teaching).The total area of the library building is 1911 square meters. It comprises of Circulation, Reading, Reference, Journals, Digital library, Multimedia, Processing, Text Book and Book Bank Sections. The ever expanding Central library currently holds 95528 books and Springer E-book Consortium. It has approximately 100 Journals of National and International acclaim. It also subscribes to E-journal consortium from Science direct, ASME, ASCE & DELNET. The library also subscribes lectures on National Programme on Technology Enhanced (NPTL). The Institute has unique Book Bank facility which provides 26 books to each student for the year. Around 50% students are extended this facility.
