About Us

Ettumanoorappan college is a pioneering self-financing co-educational college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The founder president of the college is the Late Mr. N Ramakrishna Pillai (Retd. Head Master). The college was established in 1995 and it is owned by the Ettumanoor Education Society, which is registered under the Charitable Societies Act 1985. Ettumanoorappan College is run under the patronage of Sri. R Ramachandran Nair IAS (Retd. Chief Secretary), who is an efficient administrator, an eminent write, a veteran academician, and a versatile genius. He is the President of the Ettumanoor Education Society. Sri. A. R Thulasidas is the Secretary and Smt. Lakshmi R. Nair is the Treasurer of the society.The college aims to increase the life opportunities of individuals and the productivity of the organization. The objective of the college is to equip the students with updated subject knowledge in the programmes and to bring out the innate talents of the students and make them confident to take up different jobs. The college helps the students to develop the soft skills through intensive training in communicative skills, leadership quality, personality development and character and capacity building and thus concentrates on the overall development of individuals to shape them as good citizens.
