About Us

The elumalai polytechnic college was started in the year 1983, with an intake of 240 students per year, now the intake is increased to 600 per year. It was started with four disciplines that are civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering and mechanical engineering. Now it has grown into seven disciplines by adding Information Technology, computer engineering and automobile technology with the aim to provide quality education as per the changing needs of society by implementing and introducing various innovative new courses so as to make the distant dream come true at a reachable pace to the rural students in and around Villupuram district.
