About Us

The Durgapur School of Nursing (DSN) is located in the premises of Durgapur Steel Plant Hospital under Steel Authority of India Ltd. It has unique infrastructure, which includes large Class Rooms, Laboratory, Library, Seminar Hall, Computer Centre, Common Room, Hostel Accommodation, Kitchen, Dinning, Tennis Ground, Physical Fitness Centre etc. It is located within 50 meter of DSP hospital at Durgapur Steel Plant Township. Durgapur Steel General Hospital under SAIL is having a capacity of 640 beds with all modern facilities like ICU , CCU , Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedic, Paediatrics, Neo-natal, Dialyses, Modern O.T.s, Eye, Cornea Grafting , Radiotherapy, C.T. Scan Dental, Occupational Health Services, Specialised Burn Unit, Blood Bank, Eye Bank, Physiotherapy Clinic, etc. Apart from these, the hospital is well equipped with investigative department. In addition of rendering medical services to the employees and their dependents of Durgapur Steel Plant and Alloy Steels Plant, DSP Hospital Renders services to employees and their dependents of other PSUs and Corporate houses and also to members of public.
