About Us

During its long journey over the last 146 years, Nilratan Sircar Medical College has grown both physically and intellectually. Presently it offers Under Graduate (250 intake annually), Post Graduate (in 19 disciplines) as well as Post Doctoral courses (in 11 disciplines). College also offers M.Sc, B.Sc and Diploma courses in Nursing and as many as ten Para Medical diploma courses.  In keeping with norms of the Regulatory Body, the college has as many as eight Lecture Theatres of varying capacities. There is a large Play Ground within the campus. Hostels for UG and PG students, both boys and girls are there as per recommendation of MCI. College also has one large Auditorium in the Academy Building and one State of the Art e-Class Room. Accommodation to External Examiners are provided in a well maintained Guest House within the premises.
