About Us

The Christian Hospital, Bissamcuttack (CHB) started in 1954 by Dr Elisabeth Madsen, Denmark, with a strong motivation of providing community health care to a needy section of the State. Over the years, this tiny hospital has grown in size, facilities & personnel to where it stands now as a beautiful 200-bedded hospital built on the slope of a hill; on a 14-acre campus surrounded by the beauty of nature, in Rayagada District. The institution runs three nursing courses viz. ANM, GNM and B. Sc. Nursing.
