About Us

Chandrakant Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences (CIHNS) was named and based on the ideals of Dr. Chandrakant Umakant Patil. Dr. Patil was an emerging Public Health Physician who dedicated his life while serving the flood victimized rural society in Sopaul district of Bihar and succumbed to the lightening while attending his patients at the tender age of 24. The CINHS started its journey on the birthday of Dr. Patil - September 11th - in the year 2020.
