About Us

Capital Academy of Nursing (Formerly known as Sri Jagannath Institute of Medical Science & Research) has come into existence with a noble vision to develop the art for complete health services, care of the sick, physical, social, health education to the individual’s family and to the society as a whole for the prevention of diseases and promotion of health. Service to the mankind is the primary duties of nurses. Hence nurses should have the responsibility towards building the healthy society. Keeping in view to the present health scenario and in order to equip the youths accordingly, young girls in particular, who are considered to the best media to promote health services, Capital Academy of Nursing has undertaken education and training in the field of nursing and looking forward to expand the horizon in career building of the students in this field. The Institute has been established under the aegis of Sri Jagannath Education and Charitable Trust. Capital Academy of Nursing had its humble beginning in the year 2006 permitted by Govt. of Orissa, Health & Family Welfare Department and approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
